If you decide to join the Dogs that is fantastic and your trading will only improve.

It's now time to study Module 1.

Unfortunately, we have no facilities at the moment for offering trials of our program.

If you are a member of Black Dog Trader click on LOGIN in the main menu, enter your Username and Password then click 'Submit'.

This takes you direct to your Dashboard. The Dashboard link is now in the main menu for as long as you are logged in, which makes it easier for navigation.

From your Dashboard you may enter any module that is currently available to you. We will be adding more interesting stuff as time passes.

We had a big problem in the past. All content was available at the same time. This was not good.

It presented a case of information overload and members were overwhelmed with all the info at once. There was no structured learning plan. New members simply went straight to the juicy parts of the course and skimmed the beginning resulting in 'not knowing what they were doing'.

All had to retrace their steps. This was totally my fault.

Now, we have a logical progression with time in between which helps to really get to grips with Black Dog. There is nothing difficult about our program but it DOES need to be embedded into the old trading brain.

In trying to redeem myself each module is released weekly from time of joining which gives ample time to read and study everything in that module and connect it to the previous one. 

This seven days cannot be altered without a mountain of work. Please do not ask.

Unfortunately this sometimes happens with a superb trading program when a 'member' decides to make a few extra bucks by plagiarising the Dogs as his own. This is THEFT of Intellectual Property and we can only bring the full weight of the law to bear.

To combat this there is a small piece of code embedded into every page on this site which is unique to the member or User of the membership site who copies that page for others to use.

This will help in identifying those who wish to break the law.

This site carries out IP Logging.

What this means basically is that it automatically remembers your IP address every time that you log in. If someone else logs in with the same log in details from another IP address then the account becomes frozen. This is to discourage the sharing of Usernames and Passwords which, in its simplest form, amounts to theft.

The short answer is no.

Thankfully Paypal accepts all major credit cards and you should be able to use the purchase link without creating a Paypal account. Paypal does have other means of accepting payment and it is best to check on their website.

We have no other means of accepting payment.

This can sometimes be a problem. We have received many emails from people who live in countries where Paypal is not an accepted form of payment. But we have no other means.

What has worked before is that if you have a relative or friend who does live in a country where Paypal is accepted then they may do the purchase for you. This is acceptable but PLEASE make sure that we know what is happening beforehand as accounts can be frozen when different IP addresses are used on the membership site.

Black Dog requires absolutely NO financial or personal details about you whatsoever.

Perhaps not true as we do require an email for contact purposes such as where to send login details. We also like to be on first name terms. But that is it.

Any financial stuff is dealt with by Paypal. They have the latest security industry standards in dealing with online payments. They are the largest company in the world of this type dealing in millions every day, they need to be safe and secure. And they are.

Black Dog neither receives, nor has access to, ANY of your credit card details whatsoever.

We DO NOT store that type of information nor do we have the software to do so. Paypal would NEVER share credit card details with anyone or any site.

Black Dog receives ONLY the information that you allow Paypal to send, namely email address and first or last names.

As a minimum, Black Dog requires only an email for communication purposes.

Unfortunately we do not.

Paypal is the only means we have. This is the preferred safe and secure method.

Paypal uses the highest SSL safeguards so there is no need to worry about security. They have it covered.

I cannot give out Black Dog bank details for obvious reasons.

Metatrader 4 is the software we use. Free to download from your broker (if they offer it).

As far as I am aware, the Black Dogs will not work on other software such as e-Signal, Tradestation, Think or Swim, etc.

It must be stated here quite clearly that I am not a computer wizard by any stretch of the imagination. There are probably people out there who could make this work on software other than Metatrader but I am not aware if this has been achieved.

The downloads of the indicators and templates are in Metatrader file format and not compatible with other software. 

Metatrader is free to download with a free data supply. Why not try it?

One or two of our members do use Renko but I'm not sure of their set up. I can offer no advice.

So apparently the answer is yes, but with reservations as I have no info on it.

This all depends on what you can pull up on Metatrader or what your broker offers.

Your broker will often make a market available for you if you ask.

My broker offers forex, indices, metals, some commodities, US and UK stocks, Nasdaq stocks etc. That gives plenty to go at but I only have four charts open. Less confusion.

In short, no.

There is a certain amount of discretion required to trade the systems but even new traders are mailing me to say how well they are doing with the Dogs.

We have rules in place to protect us and to get us into the moves, these rules are not difficult to follow. Our long time members have been with us a long time for a reason!

Fully mechanical systems get you into trades that you should not be in - that costs you money and we don't want that.

The idea with trading is to make money, not act like a robot and pay extortionate sums for the privilege of losing money!

We need to get real, there is NOTHING out there that will just throw money at you without some initial effort from you.

I sincerely hope not..!!

The Black Dog systems are NOT robotic trading systems, they are NOT EAs.

I personally have no interest whatsoever in losing robotic trading methods.

"Do I need to leave the computer switched on for the Black Dogs to work?"

No. Once you are set up and everything is saved you can switch off and return at any time. The Black Dog templates will be in your Metatrader until you delete them, though I just cannot imagine why you would want to do that..!!

I would never have to work again. Be assured that there are no guarantees in trading of any kind. If you do see a guarantee, back off, big time. Scam alert.

You cannot guarantee that you will use the program as described. No-one can guarantee the data from the broker. You cannot guarantee that you will put in the effort. No-one can guarantee that the market will not be flat - etc etc etc...

I can safely say though that I think you will be well satisfied with your investment, your level of confidence in trading the markets will grow. I believe very strongly in the Black Dog program having devoted the last (almost) twenty years of my life to it. For me there is nothing better.

There are many who feel the same way.

You may set up the Black Dog charts on as many computers as you wish.

Some members have it set up at home, one on laptop, and one at work..!!

Be careful with IP Logging though - any problems let us know.

Everything is pre-set for downloading. You may alter them but it is not recommended. All you need to do is apply whichever template you require to a chart and it will do the setting up for you.

There is no optimisation or curve-fitting of any kind required.

We have our Trading Room where many of our regulars hang out for most of the trading day. The room never closes and is available after the completion of Module 10. This is so you are well-versed in Black Dog methods and possibly able to help other traders.

Not only trading questions but anything under the sun. If you don't ask the answer is always 'no'.

At the present time there are no plans for one-to-one training. Maybe at some time in the future if there is time. The feeling is that the modules cover everything that should be required but failing that there is always the Trading Room. Though people will be very quiet if they are in a trade.

Personally, I do not possess such an infernal machine!

It is always better to use email but Skype is better as I can answer almost immediately, though only available to members.

I can assure you that ALL emails are answered in a timely manner but for me phones are a no-no. They are too distracting during the trading day.

Like almost all traders, I started with a few blown accounts. I needed to get my act together because I saw that there was a good deal of money to be made at this game. To cut a long story short I needed to do things differently from the crowd as they were all losing too. This gave birth to a very raw version of Black Dog which grew and grew.

My account graph started heading north east.

Results were promising for the next two years or so but I needed confirmation - enter a well-known trader online who also thought the same. He was impressed and asked if the Dogs could also be made available for his students. The rest is history.

The problem I had in the early days was getting support - I vowed to do the best I could for anyone who joined Black Dog. This remains the same to this day.

In my view Black Dog is the best there is - bar none.

Then we have the superb MTF2 followed later in the course with our BDMAX series. We have recently added our scalping strategy (BDM1) in Module 11, this is planned as a pay-per-view in the future.

What we have now is a nice balance with easy learning and fantastic strategies which hopefully cater for all styles of trading. That is how we envisage our site.

If you can get a chart onto MT4 then you may use ANY of our methods to trade it. You may also use them on ANY time frame.
